Testimonials

  • "For most of this year I worked with David weekly to scale my business and close the gap between where I was and where I could be. I’d known him as one of the best BD leaders in consulting; now I know him as much more. This became more than executive coaching—it shifted how I manage energy, keep promises to myself, and build The Dean Machine with steadiness and confidence. Working with David got me there faster."

Dean K - Founder, Revenue Advisor

  • “I’ve worked alongside David at two different companies, where he led sales and I led business operations. David’s ability to drive new business is exceptional—his client-centered approach, strategic vision and determination were critical to building our businesses. What truly sets David apart for me, though, is his impact beyond all that. As a friend and mentor, he has an unparalleled ability to inspire, support, and positively challenge those around him.”

    Erik M - COO

  • “We outlined ambitious but concrete goals: increase my social presence and attain my first conference speaker placement. I found my voice online and did indeed secure my conference speaker position. While on that stage I leveraged tools and methods we had discussed such as posture and breath control, which helped me to stay paced, present, and in control.”

Tanesha W - Head of Product

  • "Because David has worked for years in corporate and agency environments, he just “gets” it - he knows the environment, the challenges, the realities of work. It was a relief to quickly skip past that context-setting and dive into the work at hand."

Ryan M - CoFounder and Strategy Lead

  • "Having worked with several executive coaches over the years, I can confidently say that a single 60-minute session with David delivered more insight and progress than I achieved in weeks with others"

Scott H - Global Marketing Executive

  • “Our first conversation, in fact, produced pages of notes and practical insights about me, my real mission, and how I should communicate what I do more effectively to prospective clients who need someone who will not strategize, but also jump in with them and execute!”

Jeff P - Fractional Transition Executive

  • “David doesn't do surface-level work. He created space for me to go deep, helping me see my partnership with my co-founder in new ways that fundamentally shift how I approach client relationships. The results have been tangible: we gained clarity on our company identity, the value we bring, and most importantly, a reminder that authenticity is the crucial foundation for success.”

    Sam W - Co-Founder

  • “David has a gift for asking the right questions at the right time and helped me see patterns I've been too close to recognize. His background in business gives him credibility in understanding the real challenges of corporate life, while his coaching training provides the framework to work through them effectively.”

    Peter A. - Sales Leader

  • "Through our work, I’ve gained a much clearer sense of how I want to show up as a leader, where I want to focus my energy, and how to make career decisions that feel genuinely aligned with who I am. I can honestly say my priorities — and how I make choices — are sharper, simpler, and more intentional because of David’s guidance."

Jeremy A - Digital Product Leader

  • "David really helped me to rethink the way I show up in conversations. Starting with the body, building a feeling of presence and a sense of stability, and then building confidence with interactions, negotiations, and reciprocity. He’s wise, personable, empathic, and fun; his lessons are memorable and useful."

John A - Co-Founder and Chief Creative Officer

  • "What impressed me most was David's remarkable ability to identify patterns in my experiences, name them and translate them into practical actions I could implement immediately. Our shared background in design consulting created an instant rapport. When I described certain scenarios, David knew exactly what I was talking about without lengthy explanations. He's walked the path and navigated the complex terrain of creative leadership."

    Alis C - Product Leader

  • "From the first session, we uncovered the internal forces driving both momentum and hesitation. David guided me to recognize the tools I already had, align them with my values, and use them with intention. I came to see how different kinds of activities, even if they require the same effort, call for different types of energy. And in almost Yoda-like way, he showed me how I was directing my energy and how to protect it, not just to be more productive, but to work in a way that matched my natural flow."

Individual Coaching

You’ve traveled the path from individual contributor to the senior ranks or even the C-Suite. You know how to scale a business. But most executives try to scale their leadership using only intellect—analyzing data, strategizing, and pushing harder.

Eventually, you hit a wall.

It shows up as hesitation in high-stakes moments, a loss of creative vision, or an inability to 'switch off' .

The problem isn't your strategy. It's your internal operating system.

You cannot out-think a nervous system that is in survival mode. If you are leading with tight shoulders and shallow breathing, your decisions are reactive, not strategic.

Leadership Coaching

As growth leaders we live under more pressure than anyone else in the company. Our performance is written in numbers, not intentions . At our best, we support and grow the business, our teams, and our cultures to bring out the best in those we lead. When we fall short, the pressure increases.

As leaders, it is our job to understand, optimize, and fully own our impact.

In our work together, we will focus on the gap between where you are and where you need to be as an effective leader for those you serve. We’ll work on and explore both your outside and inside game to break down the current boundaries that limit your full potential.

Team Coaching

What if everyone on your team team felt more ego around the outcomes of the work than about themselves? What if that environment attracted the best talent willing to work on the hardest challenges? What if everyone could feel open, vulnerable and connected to a purpose greater than themselves?

You’d be in the top 1% of teams anywhere. This is what great teams have in common. I know, I worked in such an environment when I was at frog.

In our work together, the first goal is helping teams to create a focus mindset of abundance, transparency, and excellence around the work. We then develop a system of values and norms, all while empowering change on an individual and team level.

My Philosophy

Growth is what fuels modern day businesses and careers.

It’s also what makes us feel alive and vibrant in our lives. In many ways growth translates to health.

For many leaders, driving growth for the business depends on your own growth on the inside. It’s your Outside Game and Inside Game that makes up your own Leadership OS.

Your Outside Game is all about your habits, how you lead, how you sell, how you build relationships, how you communicate, how you deliver, etc. Without a good Outside Game, success is but a dream. But it’s also not enough.

We also need an Inside Game

The Inside Game involves our intuition, decision-making, self-leadership, courage, creativity, curiosity, and wisdom, the elements that support our ability to execute the Outside Game. A lot of people can own their Outside Game, but they are owned by their Inside Game which is also the source of fear, anger, jealousy, overwhelm, despair, and burnout.

The Inside Game tends to present some of the biggest challenges, the places where we need to evolve how we think, handle emotions, and build flow. This is the essence of the areas where “what got us here won’t get us there”.

The Inside Game is where our own self-made glass ceilings exist. And these are not overcome by a new sales strategy or marketing plan. This isn’t about fixing. You’re not a computer. These are the dark corners. This is where your shadow runs wild with all the emotions that take over as you come to grips with poor performance numbers. The Inside Game is about skill of establishing and building a deeply personal and productive relationship with oneself. While the rest of them wear the mask to hide what’s inside, when you master the Inside Game, you’re in sync. You play to win.

Together it means overcoming all the energy sucking patterns that we used to get here, but are horribly inefficient in helping us get there. It also opens us our ability to increasingly use our creativity. We need creativity so we can operate both effectively and resourcefully in a world that moves faster than ever.

This is what I did for myself starting at age 11. I learned that systems and psychology were the force multipliers for success in sports, school, and then in my career.

This is also what I help people do, from individual contributors and solopreneurs to Fortune 500 executives and C-level leaders, most of whom are responsible for growth and making critical decisions that will make or break their careers.

Together, you and I will work to understand how you build your Leadership OS to deliver at a 10 out of 10, and enjoy doing it.

If you’ve been looking to drive the growth you know you can, let’s have a conversation on how you can get what you want.
